I am an International Baccalaureate (IB) Middle Years Programme (MYP) Design teacher, empowering students to apply the Design Cycle to solve authentic problems through inquiry, creativity, critical thinking, and reflection. My goal is to inspire lifelong learners who become innovative thinkers and compassionate leaders within their communities.Before entering the classroom, I spent many years as a digital content creator and online personality, building an engaged LGBTQ+ community through educational and entertainment content. That experience strengthened my communication, leadership, public speaking, and community-building skills while giving me the opportunity to connect with people from diverse backgrounds with empathy and authenticity. Those experiences continue to shape my approach as an educator.Alongside teaching, I am a creative entrepreneur, graphic designer, and multimedia producer. I am the creator of Skullboi, an independent multimedia project exploring how our analog past continues to shape our digital future through storytelling across newsletters and a video podcast centered on the pop culture of the 1980s, 1990s, and Y2K. My work blends nostalgia, history, design, and cultural analysis to uncover why these cultural artifacts continue to influence how we create, connect, and communicate today.As a designer and content strategist, I have experience developing brand identities, marketing campaigns, merchandise, retail experiences, and event spaces for comic conventions, music festivals, pop-up shops, and live events. I enjoy collaborating across creative, marketing, and production teams to develop compelling content, solve complex design challenges, and deliver projects on deadline.Whether I’m teaching in the classroom, designing a brand, or creating digital content, I’m driven by the same mission: to inspire curiosity, foster belonging, and create experiences that leave a lasting impact.
